  • Execute over 250 events annually across the following venues: Globe Life Field, American Airlines Center, Dos Equis Pavilion, The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, South Side Ballroom, Majestic Theatre and Music Hall at Fair Park, along with several venue partners in Arkansas.

  • Responsible for building and executing comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns for designated Live Nation Dallas and co-pro concerts

  • Solicit and fulfill paid buys and promotional deals with television and radio stations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and greater North Texas region, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana

WHARTON CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS
MARKETING INTERN
Summer 2015
During my internship, I worked with the senior marketing manager on a variety of tasks. These included:
  • Developed and implemented promotional marketing plans for performances. Plans included press kits with social media templates, press releases, and graphics.
  • Wrote guest articles for the Lansing State Journal and Michigan Dance Council newsletter and WKAR radio advertisements
  • Staffed outreach activities including Michigan State's Academic Orientation Program (AOP) resource fair for freshmen students and Green and White Days campus open houses. Increased AOP student e-club signups 133% from 2014.
  • Coordinator for CreativeCollaboration, an MSU Arts Council event for Michigan State student arts groups. Included a resource fair, live  performances, and giveaways. Set record for student ticket sales with 276 tickets purchased for a total of $6,800 during the three hour event and sold out the Jersey Boys pit seats for all eight shows.

  • Assisted patrons at entertainment events by performing duties such as greeting and scanning admission tickets, distributing programs, assisting in finding seats, searching for lost articles, providing assistance for patrons with special needs through Wharton Center's Curb to Seat wheelchair service, and locating such facilities as rest rooms, concession stands, and guest services.
