THREE WEEK BOX OFFICE INTERN

The National Cherry Festival 3-week event internship provides knowledge and education on the process of event operations of the eight-day festival. NCF 3-week interns work on projects in areas including but not limited to general event operations, ticket sales and gate control, event finance, warehouse and logistics under the close supervision of the NCF staff.

General internship duties:

Sold tickets via Saffire Ticketing for nightly concerts over the eight day festival for a 4,000 capacity venue, in addition to nine off-site events

Functioned as a customer service representative by answering inquiries from the festival’s 500,000+ attendees via phone, email and Facebook

Assisted operations team with festival set-up and tear-down

Concert events included: Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Here Come The Mummies, Dan & Shay, Buddy Guy, Three Days Grace, Sheryl Crow, Dustin Lynch and Darci Lynn Farmer.
Non-concert events included: Very Cherry Flying Pancake Breakfast, Indigo View Air Show, Blues, Brews & BBQ, Great American Picnic, Flight Deck, Royal Pageant of Fashion & Luncheon, Princess Tea, Queen's Ball and Cherryland Band Classic.
